Cheat Games Blog: Far Cry Cheats

NOTE: These are the main Far Cry cheats that are usually applied by pressing down the right key combination. Please find the instructions on how to use these cheats below. Press [~] to access the console, then enter one of the following codes to activate the corresponding cheat function:

god_mode_count=1 - God Mode
give_all_weapons=1 - All Weapons
give_all_ammo=1 - Ammunition
\save_game - Quick save game
\load_game - Load quick save
\map - Load map (see the list below)
\ca_Debug=1 - Debug mode
\ai_noupdate=1 - Dumb enemies

Map names: archive, boat, bunker, carrier, catacombs, control, cooler, dam, factory, fort, pier, rebellion, regulator, research, river, steam, swamp, training, treehouse, volcano

Cheat mode (demo version)
Press [~] during game play to display the console window. Press [Tab] to cycle through the available cheat options.

Set armor (demo version)
Use Notepad to edit "\Scripts\Default\Gamerules.lua" file (make a backup first!). Find the line with "armor = 0;" string and change the value to 255. Save the changes and run the game.

Save Anytime
Start the game with the command-line parameter "-DEVMODE" (example: "C:\Far Cry\farcry.exe" -DEVMODE). Press [~] (tilde) while playing to bring up the console then type \save_game. For quicksave access, bind this function to an unused key.

In-Game Cheats
For in-game cheats, a new file is required to be created. Easy access along with instructions are included with the file. As a bonus, all levels will also be unlocked. Access the file here:

Colorful Names
Add color to your name by using the following characters BEFORE the text you want to be colored at the character setup screen. Multiple colors may be used.
